What is the Energy Saving Recommended mark?
The energy saving recommended logo was developed to help you spot the most energy efficient products. These products cost less to run because they use less energy to do the same job than inefficient ones.
Most of the UK’s energy comes from fossil fuels. This produces carbon dioxide emissions, which contribute to climate change. So by reducing the energy we use, we can also reduce our carbon dioxide emissions and help protect the environment.
The energy saving recommended logo appears on a range of lighting products and fittings. You’ll also find the logo on household appliances, as well as heating, glazing and insulation products. If you see our logo, it means the goods are amongst the most energy efficient you can buy as they have met our strict criteria.
